Putrajaya, Tuesday 11th August 2009, Yang Berhormat Datuk Maximus Ongkili had officiated the MOSTI Dana Exchange 1/2009 and Launching of Accelerated TechnoFund Commecialisation Programme at Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC). It was attended by 200 guests from relevant MOSTI’s agencies such as BiotechCorp, MTDC, MIGHT, TPM, MDeC, TechnoFund and InnoFund recipients. In this event, research agreements were presented by Minister to 10 TechnoFund recipients and 10 InnoFund recipients. In addition to that, 3 TechnoFund graduates were awarded with ‘Certificate of Achievement’ upon completion of their projects.

The purpose of this event was to nurture grant recipients who have successfully completed their pre-commercialisation programmes on to next stage of their life cycle. This initiative will provide the new industry players with the necessary input to accelerate them seamlessly to their full commercial potential thus helping to consolidate indigenous industry within the value chain.
