Monday 3rd May 2010 - Chicago, USA. Y.B Datuk Seri Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili, Minister of Science Technology and Innovation MOSTI, leading the Malaysian delegation, attended the first day of the BIO-International Convention & Exhibition USA 2010. The Hon. Minister led a series of discussions which included meetings with The Hon. Kim Carr, Australian Minister of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research and Prof Dr Roger Beachy, Director of The National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) USA. The BIO Exhibition and Convention USA is said to be the “World’s largest gathering of the global biotech community, showcasing and connecting the people, companies and biotech innovations that help to Heal, Fuel, Feed the World”. The Minister will open the Malaysian exhibition tomorrow which will showcase several key initiatives by Biotechcorp, Bio-XCell and other Malaysian Biotech Companies.
